How to Play
Survivor is an elimination and repeat improv game.
Four or five players improvise a scene with a time limit (1, 2 or 3 minutes).
After the scene, the audience claps for each player… the player with the least amount of applause is eliminated. The scene is replayed with the eliminated players’ contribution being fulfilled by the remaining players.
Repeat to find the Survivor
After the replay, the audience again claps for each player and one is eliminated. The scene is replayed with both the eliminated players’ contributions being fulfilled by the remaining players.
This continues until one player [the Survivor] replays the entire scene himself or herself. scene playing all the parts.
Notes
It’s up to the players to determine how to incorporate the contribution (information) from the eliminated player(s). You could play all the characters. This would have you moving around the stage and creating each character. You could also consider incorporating the contribution in other ways. Have fun.
It’s easiest to ask the audience to applaud for the player they want to be eliminated. The downside is that the focus is on the elimination. You might want to try it applauding for all the players and the player with the least amount of applause is eliminated.

I saw this game first performed by Second Thought Improv in Ocala, Florida.
