How to play
Have the group get into pairs.
Tell the other person in your group three things you can teach in 60 seconds.
For example player A tells player B that she can teach them how to prepare a great BBQ sauce, how to pick a lock or how to pack for a long trip.
Player B chooses what they want to learn. For example Player B wants to learn how to pick a lock.
Then Player B tells Player A three things he can teach in 60 seconds and Player A chooses what they want to learn.
Hand out playing cards. Ask them to remember their card. The cards will become clear in a moment.
Ask the players to teach the chosen topic in 60 seconds to the other player. Time the players.
At the end of 60 seconds tell them to switch players.
For example: Player A teaches Player B how to pick a lock and then Player B teaches Player A how to use Google Advanced Search.
After they are finished ask them to exchange cards. The card represents the story.
Tell them the assignment is find a new partner. In this round they are to tell the other player what they learned (not what they taught) in 30 seconds.
For example. Player B will teach Player C how to pick a lock.
And Player A will teach Player E how to use Google Advanced Search.
When they are finished they exchange cards.
Ask them to find a new partner. Ask them to make sure the person they choose does not have the playing card they had at the beginning. This will ensure they will not hear their own lesson taught back to them.
In the round ask them to teach the lesson they just heard in 15 seconds.
Be sure to time them.
When that is finished have everyone form a big circle
Everyone in the group tells the most recent lesson in 7 seconds.
It might be fun to have the group guess what they lesson is and whose lesson it is.
Notes
Should they be real things you can teach. I think so.
This can also be done with life changing moments. (ask people to change the gender to suite the story teller.
