Quick Description
Play like someone else. Players improvise scenes using the acting style of another player picked at random.
How to Play
Put all the names of the players in a ‘hat’.
Two players take names out of the hat. Read the name. Don’t reveal the name.
Those two players play a scene or game using the acting style of the person named on the slip of paper.
Ask the rest of the group if they can identify the player whose name is on the slip of paper.
Notes
This game can be useful to groups that have been around for a while. It’s a playful way to give feedback to each other.
I’ve played this several times and….warning…it can be a bit brutal to see your style of acting/improvising lampooned on stage in front of everyone else.
Variations
You could write the names of celebrities on the slips of paper.
