Quick Description
When a player gets a laugh they put a marshmallow in their mouth and continue the scene.
How to Play
Players have a bag/bowl of marshmallows on or near the stage.
The players perform an improv scene.
Anytime a player gets a laugh from the audience that player must put a marshmallow in his/her mouth and continue the scene.
Origin
I learned of this game from a group in San Francisco called The Streetlight People (who tell me they got it from an online souce.)
[This is a variation of the improv game “Laugh n’ Go”. You can find it in The Playbook]
Notes
WARNING: According to Wikipedia two people have died playing a similar game called Chubby Bunny.
This seems like one of those totally pointless games that can be played once or twice a year. It’s sort of designed to humiliate the actor for the pleasure of the audience. In the same way that audiences often yell ‘proctologist’ and ‘bathroom’ as suggestions for an improv scene. It also occurs to me that this game could be played with jell-o shots instead of marshmallows… not that would be… oh, never mind. Investigate. Discover. Enjoy.
