Quick description
Players combine a recent news event with a fairy tale.
How to play
Players get a suggestion from the audience of a recent event in the news and a fairy tale.
The players then improvise a scene combining the fairy tale characters (and setting?) with the news item.
That’s why it’s called “Fairy Tale News.”
Note
The players don’t have to use the exact circumstance of the news event, it can be a bit more general. So instead of a specific political protest the players can use the broader theme of political protest.
The scene can take place before or after the main story of the tale. For example if the story is Little Red Riding Hood, then the scene can have Little Red Riding Hood as an adult years after the encounter with the big bad wolf.
Play with the concept and have a good time.
