How to Play
Players stand in a circle.
One player says “Did-ya-ever”. The player to one side of them says the next word in the story/phrase.
The story or phrase continues around the circle until a player determines the story/phrase if over. That player starts a new story/phrase by saying “did-ya-ever”.
Example:
Player 1: Di’Ya’Evr
Player 2: Ride
Player 3: on
Player 4: a
Player 5: dog
Player 1: sled
Player 2: and
Player 3: think
Player 4: this
Player 5: is
Player 1: fun
(slight pause by Player 2)
Player 2: Di’Ya’Ever
Player 3: eat
and so on…
Notes
When you say Di’ya’evr it may be helpful to say it with a country hillbilly accent.
This is a variation on the game Word At A Time Story and Group Wisdom (sometimes called Yes-Yes-Yes).
